We recently changed to the Sandman Hotels for all our business stays and they have been great. I stayed there twice in one week on a trip to Toronto in early march, the first stay took forever to get booked in as half the people from the airport shuttle got off there and there was only one clerk on. The... more

The hotel's clerks were awesome with a friendly smile every time! it was great to see a friendly face when coming in from the winter, The housekeepers were absolutely amazing at what they did as the rooms have always been perfectly clean and well maintained which is a very warm welcome every time we arrived back at our room However... more

We had quite an interesting experience at the Sandman. We checked in, and the staff was quite friendly. That's where the pleasant part ends and the laughably bad part begins. Although the hotel was far from full, they gave us the room directly next to/behind the elevator. This was not good for several reasons. First, we heard the elevator all... more

I have been staying here for years. For the price, the value is great. The staff is excellent and the Moxies rest/Bar is a good lace to unwind. I have stayed in much fancier surroundings, but for a place to lay your hat after a long day, the value is great. more

This Hotel is very plain, the beds were hard as card board. The door was a self closing door that did not work, so I accedently left it open to the hallway for hours. The vending machines in the hallway were SO loud. The front desk staff were very professional, the hotel was clean. Not all the rooms offer the... more

This was a good hotel for the price to travel around Vancouver area. Our room was good size and very clean. Also left a bag of potato chips, cookies and bottled water (free) in the room each morning. It is about 15 minutes south of Vancouver which suited us as we were going south when we left but it was... more

This is THE WORST HOTEL. We had booked a loft suite with a kitchen.... Guess what, there was no counter (heater) top, no dishwasher, AC was not working, we had to get an extra fan. When the sofa bed was stretched, there was no space to walk around. TV was right in front of the bathroom. The carpets were very... more

Nice place to stay near the Vancouver Airport. The restaurant has good food. I would recommend it for couples looking for a romantic night. more

We stayed in a standard double room in July and August, 2005. The rooms have the interior you find in most Sandman Hotels and were well maintained. Bathroom size is above average. The pool is small and cold, but on a warm summer day still welcome. The best thing about the hotel is the Moxie's Classic Grill, which is always... more

First, this is a terrible place to locate. Second, the air conditioning in our room was so plugged there was no air coming out. We had three rooms, two of the three the air conditioning was terrible and the third I was told was tolerable. When I spoke with the front desk night manager, he suggested I wait until the... more
