Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites Sept 3, 2008 Enjoyed a two night stay at this very pleasant Hotel, ideally situated being just a five minutes stroll down a gentle hill to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Arriving by bus via the ferry from Vancouver mainland, could not have been easier and the hotel is just up the road within easy... more

I was booked into this hotel through Clipper Vacations. It is situated a few blocks from the Inner Harbour and walking distance to the Parliament Building, the Royal British Museum, The Empress, shopping, several restaurants and tours. They have a shuttle van which will pick one up and drop off at the ferry terminals. The staff is friendly and helpful.... more

We stayed at the Chateau Victoria from July 2nd until July 5th. My daughter was dancing in the Scotdance Canadian Championships We arrived early and knew that we would not be able to check in until 3pm, but they registered us and we were able to park the car and head off for lunch. They told us to phone back... more

While visiting the northwest my wife and I spent a night in one of the penthouse suites. We couldn't have asked for more. Centrally located for for us to enjoy shopping, dining and sight seeing. Great views, wonderful breeze, soft white bathrobes and a very nice room service breakfast had us asking ourselves if we should change our plans and... more

My wife and I stayed five nights for a conference trip, in a one bedroom suite. The facilities were great, just what we wanted -- small but fully supplied kitchen, comfortable furniture and layout, and (with the windows closed) quiet even though it is in the center of the city. Convenient walking distance to a couple of small food markets... more

We were on the 6th floor.... more

It is a nice, basic hotel very central to everything in Downtown Victoria. Not that fancy, and not worth more than 100$ per night and a bit noisy. Go if you get a good deal. more

This was a wonderfully clean, quiet hotel we had a suite on the 15th floor and other than the occasional door shutting loudly there was absolutly no noise. The view was amazing, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the location was within walking distance to downtown (1) block. The prices were reasonable and although they could do with... more

We recently stayed with our toddler at Chateau Victoria for the weekend. Previously we stayed (with our toddler) in one of the top hotels in Victoria and decided not to return because we had all slept so poorly. This time we chose a mid range hotel and were very pleased. We stayed in room 1108. It was large, very comfortable,... more

My wife treated me to a night at Chateau Victoria and dinner out for my birthday. The room was excellent, lots of room, terrific beds and a bonus small balconey to sit out and enjoy the view. The location is excellent and the breakfast in the roof top restaurant was a ten out of ten. I just don't see how... more
