I stayed here on my honeymoon in May of 2001. When I did that it was known as the Quality Inn at Mt. Douglas Park. Here's what I remember of it:

Overall Property: The place is quite nice looking. The hallways were very nicely decorated. They had interesting wood carvings and totem poles around the property. There's also a nice grassy area with tables and chairs that you can sit out in. The place is quiet except for road noise (more on that later).

Rooms: We stayed in the San Juan Penthouse room complete with jacuzzi, whirlpool bath, fireplace, sitting room and balcony. The room has an ocean view and you can sit on the balconies. The furniture was very nice, and the bed was quite comfy. The jacuzzi was nice to have. It's big enough for two. The carpet was unfortunately worn low grade motel carpet. Not something I'd expect in a "Penthouse" room. Also the fireplace had virtually invisible gas flames. If I turned off all the lights, I could barely... more
