My fiancée and I stayed at the Victoria Regent for three nights this September. We were extremely happy with this hotel. We had a two bedroom, harbour view suite (booked at a very good rate) that was more like a good sized condo! Both bedrooms were large, with king beds, TVs, en suite bathrooms, plenty of closet room, and walkout... more
I love this hotel, and i plan to stay here again. The location is great, and although we stayed in a room without waterfront views, i liked the charm of olde town, and taking a walk around the harbour. The rooms are large and comfortable (as well as the beds) the staff were friendly and helpful and the gardens and... more
We took a Kenmore Air seaplane up to Victoria from Seattle for an overnight trip. The Victoria Regent was RIGHT there, where we landed in the Inner Harbor. Turns out it's a condo/hotel with some permanent reseidents. You can get suites, but we were only there for one night so we just got a hotel-type room. Most of these rooms... more
We reserved the 2 bedroom waterfront and harbor view unit. Very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Extremely comfortable bed. All staff was courteous and helpful, and location was ideally close to many great restaurants ranging from inexpensive to pricey. Complimentary breakfast was adequate for our needs. So much happening on the water (seaplanes landing and taking off, kayakers, cruise ships,... more
We stayed in the 2 bedroom/2bath suite overlooking the inner harbour of Victoria. The suite was spacious, a view great and a friendly staff. Walking distance to harbour and downtown. The water planes do take off below your balcony but did not disturb us and barely heard from inside and fun to watch from your balcony. We would stay again. more
While the location was great for shopping, eating & sightseeing, we found the room to be quite small and very hot, even with the windows open. The city view was so noisy, there were earplugs in the amenity basket! We found the front desk staff to be not at all helpful. In fact they gave us wrong information on several... more
We stayed in room 201 for three days during mid-July. Based on some of the Trip Advisor reviews, we were concerned about noise, smells and no a/c in most rooms. But we felt the excellent location and some of the positive reviews outweighed the negatives and decided to take a risk for a three-day stay and we’re very glad we... more
The hotel is conveniently located near all the tourist attractions downtown. The one bedroom suite is lovely and the continental breakfast was great. My issue is their "partial harbor view". Our partial harbor view overlooked a grassy area where there was lots of noisy people and traffic...not to mention the seagulls squawking away all night long on the roof of... more
My husband and I stayed in a partial harbor view for three nights during the Tall Ships festivities. We had stayed at the Victoria Regent several years ago and liked it so much we booked again. Pros: Location: Restaurants, shopping, the harbor activities, museum are all within walking distance. One bedroom suite is very spacious. Front desk help extremely helpful.... more
