The host was very welcoming and helpful but at the same time respected our privacy. He helped give us directions to various places The b and b was in a lovely residential neighbourhood with beautiful gardens (blossoms were out!) The Ambrosia is the perfect place to explore Victoria. Gae and Gavin made us feel like we were family friends, and every place they recommended was spot-on. Stayed for 2 nights earlier this month. Gavin is a very warm and welcoming host, full of information and is happy to call around and make trip/travel arrangements for you which is really helpful. Can't think of a single thing that could be better. The Ambrosia B&B is within walking distance from the town center and has parking. The host is helpful. The room was beautiful (especially the bathroom with the jacuzzi) and quiet. The breakfast was amazing. I'd praise this place even more, but I don't want the prices to go up too... more

We stayed at the Ambrosia for two nights. The gourmet breakfasts were absolutely out of this world. they shoud write a cookbook! Our hosts were very helpful and steered us to a great restaurant, Pescatore"s. There was lots of helpful information, a lovely front garden,an delightful room and bath. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. more
