We were recently in Victoria for a baseball tournament and had the experience of staying at the Vacation Inn. They claim the hotel has just been renovated, are you kidding? We stayed at this hotel because they had a great pool with the only water slide in town, and with us taking 4 kids, it would be a good chance for them to unwind. Stayed here this past weekend, 2 weeks after Labor Day. Not a bad place, but it is a bit misleading. It's nothing more then a 2-story motel. They say "3 Star Hotel at a 1 Star Price" which is very misleading. We paid 99.00 CND/night a night under their Industry Rate and the hotel is maybe 1 1/2 stars max.... more
