Booked through Platinum AMEX who sourced the booking through Ski.com. * No hangers, asked for some, brought one, asked for more, got them in the middle of the trip. Bit of a problem drying jackets w/o hangers. * Arrived to exposed light socket ripped off and they solved the problem by removing the fixture from the walls leaving a naked... more

The entry to the lodge requires a card--hard to do when you are checking in. There is no concierge, and we had to go to another location to check in. There was no shuttle to the mountain, no ammenities, no service. We couldn't get over what was deemed a 'penthouse'. the place was tiny with no room for our stuff.... more

We stayed at the Alpenglow the first week of March 2008. The apartment while supoosed to sleep 4 was tiny but it did have everything we needed. Their idea of a ski locker is a joke - a gated section of their undeground parking but you don't get seperate lockers. While it is convenient to the market and the village... more

I think we were lucky to get one of the best rooms as we had a separate bedroom, balcony with a fantastic view & jetted tub but didn´t pay extra for this. It was excellent value for money, the room was small but clean, fairly recently refurbished & had a kitchenette complete with dishwasher, microwave, fridge & cooker with oven.... more

Great place to stay in Whistler - no need to catch a bus to blackcomb - just walk it! It's a little expensive - but worth it if you want a nice place to relax. Close to restaurants too - check out the pubs at night for a good feed + beer :) more

Spent a few days at the Alpenglow Hotel - l stayed here when it first opened (perhaps 10 yrs ago) and remembered loving it. The check-in was totally absurd. We arrived late in the evening and the front doors were locked. Had to wait 1/2 hr in the snow, eventually got a response to my calls and was told to... more

Very nice studio with a fireplace, dishwasher and all other facilities. The location is very good. Complimentary dvd-rental and a free newspaper. Service was good. But.... too expensive and we had to pay for our parking lot. We think for this amount (€ 250,-) it is possible to get a better place in Whistler. more

We go up to Whistler quite often since we only live a couple of hours away and we have stayed at various hotels there in the past but this was the first time staying at the Alpenglow. As far as location goes, it is very ideal with many restaurants, an IGA grocery store, liquor store, a 24 hour convenience store,... more

I booked through Jacquie on [--]. She was very helpful with literature and tips about Whistler. This is a great little place for two. It is very clean and well decorated. The kitchen served us well. The view is great from the balcony and the location is wonderful. Its about a block from a very nice grocery store and a... more
