On my first trip to Whistler, I wanted to take advantage of the current slow tourism indurty, and stay somewhere really nice. I researched endlessly, and in the end it came down to the Fairmont or the 4 Seasons. While I am sure that the Fairmont is lovely, and it would have been a slightly shorter walk to the ski... more

I realise that everyone has their own idea of The Best. This is one of the smaller 5 stars in Whistler. So there may be a small conference staying but there are no tour buses. To me that is a huge plus. The rooms are very good with a few worn edges showing. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss.... more

This was our first trip to Whistler. My wife and I thought it would be nice to visit during a slow time when the ski season was just about over and summer was just starting. It felt as if we were the only ones staying at the hotel which was a good thing if you wanted to get away from... more

This is a good hotel and I would stay again. However, there were lots of small mistakes which were not a big problem, but get annoying when you are paying five star prices. For example, most of the staff were great but some didn't have a clue including one concierge who told us that we would have to walk to... more

Pros: Great room, amazing bed, spacious bathroom, excellent pool and spa, free wifi (no connection charge), ski concierge is awesome - just ski up give them everything and walk away! Restaurant did an amazing seafood buffet - pricey but excellent quality. Cons: a bit of a distance from the village but there is a shuttle constantly running between hotel, ski... more

We have been taking ski vacations for years, mostly in Colorado, and this was our best hotel experience so far. The weather and skiing is another issue, but...this is a hotel review so I'll focus on that. First of all, most of the staff was wonderful. Yes, there were a few lapses (thus not the perfect score), but it's hard... more

Let me start by saying that I am a frequent traveler, and frequent many hotels from top notch, to low end. When staying at a hotel like the Four Seasons, one must have much higher expectations than a one star motel. I provide my review as such. Rooms: A The rooms are excellent, and super clean. You feel as if... more

We had a tough descision between the chateau and the FS but I think we definelty made the right choice! We were worried it might be a little too far away, but in reality its exceptionally close to everything and the shuttle service was fantastic. Check in was easy, we got a special rate on an upgrade (they even included... more

Returning to the Four Seasons in Whistler after several years we were not disappointed. The hotel appearance is as fresh as ever and a general feeling of spaciousness and high quality fittings prevails. Our One Bedroom Premier Suite featured a huge living room and a fully equipped kitchen which my wife found particularly useful at lunchtime. A minor drawback of... more

At their regular rack rate the FS is out of our current price range but the third night free offer advertised on the Whistler/Blackcomb site motivated us to call the hotel. Mr. Hassan, who answered the call, was most helpful and after explaining that we really need two beds when we ski, we were offered an "upgradee" to a twin... more
