We booked this polar bear trip a year in advance and couldn't wait. We decided to deviate from the 'program' and took the train from Winnipeg to Churchill. I stayed in the Tundra Buggy Lodge in November of 2001. I was on a trip to Cape Churchill to see polar bears, we never got there even though we paid a premium price for the experience there was no refund for not reaching our destination. The mobile lodge couldn't be towed out because of weather conditions. Apparently this happens... more
