This building was filthy top to bottom. The staff seemed resentful of customers. The staff would constantly talk to each other in chinese while waiting on you, completely ignoring their customers. We checked in, and were put in a smoking room, no big deal. We don't smoke, but have stayed in smoking rooms in the past. I booked with them for a room and when I got there they had given the room away. It is run by people that have no concept of the english language only on taking your money they are rude and when you approach the desk they will continue to read the paper or what ever till you talk first. lousy... more

We're travelling from Calgary to Halifax and this hotel is the dirtiest/smelliest/out-of-date hotel we've stayed at so far by a long shot. We've tried to stay at hotels under $100/night but this one would fit better in the under $50 category. more
