Considering the price, I found the Thriftlodge to be very clean, and the staff friendly. At $50 or less per night for double occupancy, you certainly can't expect the Ritz or any such thing. It's a good hotel, if you're on a budget. more

We made an online reservation at the Thriftlodge. When making the reservation we were a little concerned that there was no picture of the hotel online. When we arrived at about 3:30 pm we were quite uncomfortable with the neighbourood noting several rough characters outside the hotel. Our room was on the second floor. On our way to the room... more
