This hotel is ideally situated near the Forks and St. Boniface. It is a great location for exploring WInnipeg on foot. The rooms feel more luxorious than the typical chain hotels but the price is very reasonable. more

This hotel may not look like anything special from the outside but the rooms were definitely above average. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room itself was small but very cozy. I couldn't of asked for anything more for $100 night. The front desk were very friendly. The location is great, it's just a few minute walk to the Forks.... more

Stayed here for almost a week on business. Room was clean, comfortable,, and location convenient. Only downside is that it doesn't have a pool or fitness center. The restaurant was busy but I was quite disappointed with my meal. Apparently, a 10oz New York strip loin is 2 pieces of meat so thin you couldn't help but over-cook it. Over-all... more

Had a nice stay here, location was good for short walks to both downtown and the Osborne Village/Corydon St. sections. Our rate was $111 and included parking. Helpful staff, the bed was comfy, they provided bathrobes, internet connection was quick plus the computer in the lobby was seldom in use. Booked an Executive Suite; huge room, suitable for a family. Price reasonable (We've stayed in worse for more $) Free newspaper, cozy bathrobes, bottled water, coffee, toiletries, internet. Hotel is small, but as has been said by everyone, it's close to downtown, has free parking, and we found it clean. Windows open a bit if you want some fresh air.... more

We recently stayed at the Norwood Hotel. We paid between $30 - 130 American dollars less than other hotels in downtown Winnipeg (used expedia.com). This is surprising, because it is centrally located...simply across the bridge from the Forks area. In addition, we were glad to have this location, b/c it's parking was much safer (right in front of the hotel)... more
