We called from the tourist bureau and because it had 4 stars in the book we thought it would be ok. This is the first time the star ratings have ever let us down. They really need to have a second look at this one. The smell was the first thing that hit us, I'm not sure what they clean... more

I just got back home from a 32-day roadtrip during which I stayed at 8 different b&b and i must say that the Earle of Leinster was the worse. I've seen 2 star hotels in remote places that had better service and similar furniture. From the reservation to the departure that experience was terrible. Let me break this down :... more

Never ever would i send a friend or ememy to this place. The location was in a shady for of town the the locals wouldn't even visit. The place smells like a musty old grandma's house. The bedding was probablly 100 years old and the service was very very poor. more

Stayed for 2 nights including my wife and teenage son. Very quiet street and comfortable beds - the sleep was wonderful. Professional, good-humoured host and owner Steve Savoie. Breakfast was tasty and healthy - fruit, croissants banana bread coffee , etc.... Ideal location for touring St. John on foot. O.K. it's nothing fancy and the water closet really is a... more

This B&B was way over priced, smelled like the place was over run with mould. The sheets and bedding were about 20 years old. I just thought that maybe things are a little more expensive out there, but by the end of the trip we had stayed at 3 other B&B that were great for less money. I would say... more

We were quite disappointed when we arrived at this establishment. We were in a room in the back that might have been garages at one time. The old was covered up with wood paneling. Although there was a refrigerator and microwave, there were NO provisions in the room to make use of it. (not even a mug to possibly boil... more

Absolutely horrible even though it rated 4 stars on the "Canada Select" website. We stayed there 2 nights. The place had old furnishings(not antiques). They did not empty the trash, they simply threw the old smelly bedspread over the top of the bed, and left us some really thin towels. The linens had a foul odor as well as the... more
