Spent two nights in the Glynmill and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. It is an old Hotel with a lot of character. Very well maintained. Rooms were very clean and spacious, bathrooms were also clean. We enjoyed a very quiet stay. The restaurant is the best in Corner Brook and the service was great. Loved the Glynmill. more

We were taken aback by all of the good reviews for this Inn because our experience was vastly different. Upon arrival with our luggage in hand, we were met with a front desk clerk who was nothing short of brisk and indifferent. Hoping that our room would transcend our experience at the front desk, we were sorely disappointed. The Junior... more

This was the first of 5 different hotels we stayed in while visiting Nfld for 16 days. Stayed a couple of nights late July then a night on our way home in early August. We ate several times in each of Glynmill's restaurants and had a couple of drinks in their bar a few times. Good food and service always......great... more

We only stayed one night at the Glynmill Inn after flying in to Deer Lake and then travelling into Corner Brook. It presents well with an 'olde English Tudor' appearance and well landscaped grounds. Better yet, the downtown (a few restaurant choices, corner store and drug store, churches etc) are a short distance away. Perfect for an after dinner stroll... more

This hotel presents itself "Unparalleled Ambiance in the Old English Style" and that's about right - an old hotel that has seen better days and really needs some serious work. Our room was very small, the furnishings and carpeting needed steam cleaning and the bed linen was threadbare. The restaurant has a very limited menu and the service is very... more

We stayed in the original building. The location is attractive - the hotet a bit hit and miss. The room was rather idiosyncratic (light switches hidden behind the TV cabinet) and the space was not well used. We frankly couldn't tell if the room had been refurbished recently or not! Floors were very creaky. Staff and services fine though we... more

I am originally from Corner Brook and am very familiar with this hotel. I have stayed there many times and totally agree with the suggestion to stay in the newer part of the hotel. The older part has lots of character, but really isn't as nice. The new wing is clean spacious and bright. We actually had our wedding reception... more

Stayed here twice - once in the newer section, once in the main building. The newer section has newer amenities. Looked to be just a few years old. If you get a room with 2 beds it is significantly larger than a single bed room. Strange part is they are the same price! The main building is quite old but... more

This is a most pleasant hotel located in wonderful park surroudings. It provided a terrific location for us. The hotel may feel a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. more

Stayed two nights here - it is in a wonderful location. A heritage hotel built in the 1920's I believe. Very charming. Small elevator. Old wooden creaking floors. Our room was very large. The floor level sloped toward the window so be careful if you have a couple of drinks! Restuarant meal was amazing with good service. Internet access available... more
