We have stayed in several B&B's around St. John's and this is by far the most beautiful. The room was lovely. The breakfast was scrumptous with a fruit salad to start and then cream cheese stuffed french toast with partridgeberry compote. To top it all off, we were upgraded to a Master Suite upon arrival. Overall a great experience! more

My wife and I left our baby with the Grandparents for a 4 day vacation in St. John's. We found Ryan Mansion online (including some Tripadvisor reviews) and decided to book here. We were pleasantly surprised by the entire house (a lovingly restored family mansion originally built by a wealthy SJ family) and in particular our room. The room had... more

I had the pleasure of staying at Ryan Mansion for 4 days while attending the International Women's Film Festival. It is a beautifully restored Queen Anne mansion filled with an impressive, extensive, eclectic art collection. I had a huge lovely room with an excellent jacuzzi bathtub. The breakfasts were delicious and surprising. The hospitality was gracious, relaxed and generous. It... more

Ryan Mansion is a very beautiful B&B indeed, I don't know what more I can add that has not already been mentioned. The level of service from all the staff we received during our stay surpassed what we had expected. We received true Newfoundland hospitality and came home with great memories to share with family and friends . Still tasting... more

Beautiful century home with historical content regarding the Titanic. Around every corner is an interesting piece of art work for those of us who appreciate refined surroundings. The rooms are quite large with a sitting area and comfortable beds. We found the walk downtown rather easy but the hills in St. John's on the way back remind me that I... more

I was going to stay at a standard business hotel but ended up staying at the Ryan Mansion instead. What a fortunate thing I did as I had a lovely experience in this very unique location. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and enjoying the experience of staying in one of the fine rooms. I would highly recommend anyone... more
