My husband and I traveled to the South Shore of Nova Scotia for a meeting and were looking for a B&B nearby. Cooper's Inn was an amazing 'find' for us. A great combination of history and modern comfort. We were greeted by one of the owners immediately on arrival, and there was a personal hand-written note welcoming us in our... More

We arrived at the Cooper's Inn to July 19, 2012 to discover that it was re- inactment weekend. The first night we could watch a ship burn from our window and the second night we had a view of the beautiful fireworks from our window. There were soldiers marching by all weekend and many activities in which we could participate.... More

Nice Inn operated as a B&B with nicely decorated and very clean rooms. Beds are good and rooms quiet. Nicely located on the river in the historical part of town. The breakfast is excellent and all incredients fresh and cooked on site. The owners are very friendly, kind and very helpful. I'd stay there again any time.

My husband and I stayed this month at The Cooper's Inn in Shelburne, Nova Scotia. We didn't realize we would actually be staying in a separate building from the Inn. The room, which I believe was called the Alan Redmond Room, is not at all practical for travelers. It is the tiniest room with two double beds and no place... More

With historic properties such as ours, room sizes tend to vary and this is usually reflected in the rate. We believe our website describes our rooms accurately and indicates which rooms are in the main building and which are in our annex. There are also 360 degree views of each room available with each room description. Referring to our check... More

Cooper's Inn was perfect in every way. The location, the room, the food, the owners, everything was great. You are able to park your car and walk everywhere. The location is so beautiful, right on the harbor. We will definitely visit Cooper's Inn again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

My friends and I stayed at the Cooper's Inn. We found it excellent in every way. The food, the location, the service, the rooms. The owners helped us plan a beautiful sunset sail around Shelburne Harbor. Just beautiful. I only wish that we could have stayed longer. I look forward to the opportunity to return.

This B&B was good quality. Although, the decorating was quite outdated and it could have been a little more clean as I found a few unwelcome hairs in the bathroom. The owner was pleasant but stopped at that if you wanted to have a more friendly intimate experience. The town is quaint and a nice stop to get off the... More

We have just done a two week tour of Nova Scotia and I thought this place was the highlight of the trip. Great place to stay. Lovely breakfast. Great room and garden to relax in. The town itself was fascinating. Loved the museum and especially the boat/dory museum . Great beaches close by.

the only regret was ..... to have spent there just a night. Located in an historical building on historical Dock street, the Inn is really charming, beautifull furnished, spotless clean. Each room is named after one of the previous owners (we were in Gracie named after the man who built the house). Homecooked tasting breakfast.

Historic Hospitality. The house is located on the waterfront in Shelburne and is most charming. Its own history, let alone the towns history, is facinating. Paul and Pat are superb hosts mixing professionalism with charm and humour. The breakfast was the best we have had in North America. Period! We stayed in the McGill room. Although the room was a...
