We were there in October 2012, there were no lower rates for after season campers. They charge 0.50 cents for 5 min. of hot water and hidden fees on top of the official camping fees. We cannot recommend them and would not go there again. The beach front is very rocky and therefore unusable. The bathrooms were clean but there... More

Whatever you do, don't stay here. The best part about the place was their website. So, so disappointed. We actually cut our vacation short because it was to crappy and because they pissed us off so much. Issues They encourage you to book as many days as you think you may need, and don't tell you they have a no... More

I couldn't agree more with most of the other comments, except we missed out on the petting zoo. I am surprised they don't charge for the coyote visits. Undoubtly the most overpriced, over rated, crowded sited rv park we have ever stayed in. Makes KOA feel like a widerness experience. After they have your money, you are on your own,... More

We stayed the long weekend in August 2012. We took our 2 small dogs for a walk around 1130ish as we had to go to washrooms before we turned in for the night. My husband spotted a coyote by the playground so we hightailed it back to our camp sight. We had lots of lights with us and coyotes don't... More

All the othe negative comments are very true. I wish I had researched The Cove more before driving over the mountain to get there. They charge extra for many services. Arriving before 1pm will cost you $8 an hour. The site costs are as high as $100. The charge for showers, for using your credit card, for staying past 11am... More

We stayed at the Cove the long weekend in July. We booked and paid for two nights (which was overpriced to begin with) the first night that we stayed there a coyote attacked our tent slashing a hole about a foot wide needless to say we were pretty shook up considering we had a 10 month old and a six... The rock beach was littered all over when we arrived not very nice and may have played a part in our visitors that evening, 3:00 am a coyote riped a hole in our tent and pulled a bag out thankfully didn't come inside but very scarry experience especially with two small children. We thought it was a raccon but later... More

This campground is on the ocean with a nice view and sunsets in the evening, however the beach area is over a small cliff, very rocky and is not the type of beach you can walk on. The campground is very nice, clean and well kept however the RV sites are extremely narrow. We stayed at a time when there... More

I completely agree with what the other campers have said. Rude reception the moment we arrived, but the kicker was the 50 cents for 6 minutes of hot water to take a shower. Not even enough time to shampoo and rinse your hair, if it happens to be long and curly, and forget about shaving your legs, ladies. We're heading... More

Beautiful spot and very tidy but you pay for it...everything, from wood to showers to visitors. The wind off the Bay of Fundy can blow you over the mountain. Service was nonexistent with grumpy owners.
