My husband and I decided to have a relaxing weekend away at the Bailey House, and Suzan was kind enough to let us bring our teddy bear along also. The Coach house was nothing short of wonderful, more than we expected! The place was spotless and so well put together it felt like home. We explored the town that evening... More

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Baily House last spring, and could not have had a more relaxing time. We had received a gift certificate as a wedding present from a relative who had a similar experience at the Baily House, and are glad we did. Not much was open in town as it was... More

I have been fortunate to combine business meetings with an autumn getaway four times now to Annapolis Royal and each time I arrive I feel more and more at home. The main reason for this sense of feeling welcome rests with my choice of bed and breakfast:The Bailey House. Innkeeper Suzan Hebditch always makes me feel at home in her... More

We arrived at the Bailey House following a week of cycling. We stayed in the Coach House which had everything anyone could possibly want and or need. It was beautifully decorated and so serene. We enjoyed wine and snacks in the garden and spent a lovely afternoon exploring AR. Suzan was very pleasant and helpful with dining suggestions and area... More

This is a very lovely house in a great location in Annapolis Royal. The breakfast is incredible, but be aware that it is served at 0830 sharp (at least when we are there); we showed up at 0827 but some other guests overslept and it was noted to them. Although some may have found Suzan's attitude a bit troubling, she... More

Suzan welcomed us to her lovely home and our room was beautiful, large and comfortable. The furnishings were exceptional and the bed big and very comfortable. We had a great view from our room and although the house is situated on a small but busyish road during the day, at night there was no noise to keep us awake. Breakfast... More

We wer fortunate to stay at the Bailey House recently and were incredibly pleased with the entire experience. Suzan is a gracious host who has decorated this historical house with a decorator's eye for quality and charm. Linens were top notch, the feather bed with down pillows a dream, and small touches like artfully arranged Q-tips in the bathroom very... More

We stayed here in Elizabeth 'Marm' Bailey room a large and comfortable room with seating overlooking the bay. The double bed was quite high but very comfortable. The house is an historic and well preserved property with a modern twist, e.g. good shower and toiletries. It has an eclectic mix of folk art and prints on the walls. The breakfast... More

We stayed there on Sept 6 and 7 2011 and thought that it was one of the most tastefully decorated places that we have ever stayed in. It was very clean and quiet and Suzanne was very helpful and pleasant. More

This is by far the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in anywhere and the quality of the bed and linens equaled the best hotels. It is an 18th century building with fun contemporary art and a mix of modern and antique furnishings tastefully melded by Suzanne (Susan?), the owner. She was extremely helpful to us and made...
