This campground is in a large municipal park (Shubie Park) in a suburb of Halifax. There is a store and snack bar. Sites are small and there is no shade. There are pay showers available. I spent a night at the camp: nothing impressive, the place is pretty small and facilities (toilets, showers) are hardly enough to grant full service for all guests. Location is good to spend a day in Halifax (bus and ferry are taking you downtown Halifax waterfront in 1 hour. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Shubie Campground is located in Dartmouth, a beautiful little suburb of Halifax. It is clean and full-service, and the owners are very helpful.
