If you're basically just looking for a place to sleep at night then this is the place. The hotel itself is older but isn't seedy. I had my doubts when I first walked in the room because it did look grungy in the poor lighting (and we had just been traveling for seven hours so we were a little tired)... more

If you like run down, shabby, musty smelling, ants in bath tub, ripped screen doors, awkward parking, pipes exposed on almost all walls, rusted air conditioning, then this is the place for you. I took one look at the room and refused to stay there. A more "Comfort" able place was found just down the street. More money, but worth... more

We could not get a room in our usual hotel on this weekend due to KISS concert and Tall Ships . This was the only hotel available. We are traveler and have stayed in some bad places but this tops all. It would not even compare to a 2 star in Cuba- 2 star in Cuba being the Ritz in... more

Nasty, cheap looking room, which was rather smelly and dirty. Revolting bed linen, tv was faulty, staff were unhelpful. You couldn't pay me to stay there again. more

Seedy, poorly maintained, has a view of a high rise. Looks like the type of place that turns over rooms every hour or two. Not a safe feeling. The owners hadn't even bothered to sweep the parking lot or weed the landscaped front area.We decided not to stay there and went down the street to the Comfort Inn-which is a... more

Rooms clean enough, cleaning staff awesome and experienced. I stayed a month for work and had my sheets changed every other day. I actually watched them clean since I was working from the room. It is done as well as any other place I have stayed...price is right and most importantly...the beds are comfortable. I am more comfortable at the... more

Although the hotel room itself was very basic and somewhat shabby, it was worth the price we paid. At first I was unimpressed and refused to walk on the carpets barefoot but it wasn't as bad as I first thought. The bathroom was clean, tub was clean (although a bit rusty because the tap was a bit hard to turn... more

The Bluenose Inn is an old property, probably built in the heyday of the motor hotel industry. The room was very basic; clean, but nothing special. The bathroom was tiny: the sink is so close to the toilet that your knees are under the sink when sitting down! The toilet was a little unstable, and the roof of the adjoining... more

We had booked our room for three days but left after one night. In a word, the place was shabby. 1. It was equipped with a microwave and coffee maker, but the only electrical outlets available required that they be placed on the floor--no movable shelves or tables. 2. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work, nor did... more
