Perfect location, hotel service was excellent staff very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable, no complaints! Great fittness centre! Would Highly recommend Salty's fine dinning on 2nd floor located 2 blocks down on water front! Check out ferry ride $2.50 for both ways Dartmouth and back keep transfer! Loved Halifax! more

We spent 24 hrs in airplanes and waiting in airports due to weather problems and missed connections as a result of this; arrived in Halifax with no luggage 3 hrs early for check-in at the Delta Barrington for our 20th anniversary. My husband and I spent a week at this hotel and enjoyed the experience immensely. Check in was very fast and friendly. I arrived a couple of hours early but this did not present any kind of a problem. The bellman, Frank, was incredibly efficient and friendly with several suggestions for restaurants and sights that we should try to see.... more

This hotel is blocks away from the Halifax Harbourfront and steps away from shopping and museums. Some sites (like the Citadel and the Public Gardens) are up a steep hill, so you might want to catch the FRED (Free Rides Everywhere Downtown) bus that stops outside the hotel.
