Having stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world I can safely say there is none cleaner nor better maintained than this Radisson. Housekeeping and maintenance here is 100%+ and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The bellmen go out of their way to assist with transportation, restaurants or whatever. The room (suite) was spacious and comfortable and had... more

Hey All, I enjoyed my time at the Raddison. Rooms were clean. They provided us with a free room upgrade (at our request), which was lovely, and moved all of our things for us while we were out shopping. Great Location in Downtown Halifax, minutes to the waterfront. It was not quite up to one of my girl friends standards,... more

I reserved the presidential suite for our anniversary and it was much nicer than I'd expected. The view of the entire harbour is fantastic from the eighth floor. The suite has hardwood floors, a fireplace, a kitchenette, whirlpool bath, and a king sized bed (the bed has adjustable firmness with some sort of air pockets). The Internet is free, the... more

We rarely travel to Halifax as it's a bit out of the way for us compared to Moncton but based on our stay at the Radisson, we will be going more often now. As soon as we were greeted by the friendly and helpful front desk & valet we knew we were in for a treat. We were given an... more

After reading some of the reviews we were not sure what to expect. But we were very pleased and will be back for the Hotel. Ryan Duffys the restaurant that is in the Hotel was a huge disappointment give that a pass, there a alot of nicer places to eat around the hotel. Our rate at the hotel included a 20%... more

This hotel is in a good location, within easy walking distance to great restaurants and the other many great things to see and do in downtown Halifax. The staff is reasonable friendly, especially the valet guys. My issues were the "workout facility" is tiny, old and worn, with outdated equipment. It's obvious that they don't care about this area. I... more

Arrived at the Radisson late at night, as I had warned them I would, with my elderly father, tired and looking forward to sleep, to find that they had overbooked and were sending us 1/2 hour over the bridge to some hotel in the boondocks. They said they'd upgrade our room when we went back for the second night of... more

I was a bit nervous about booking at the Radisson given the mix of reviews, but the price we got was much better relative to the other big chains, so I decided to give it a try, particularly since the more negative reviews were several years old. We were not disappointed! We had a very large suite, in fact I... more

We stayed at the Radisson Suites Halifax for three nights in July 2008. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk from all of the major tourist attractions and historical sites in the city, so long as you don't mind treking up some hills! We loved being less than two blocks from the harbour and with Citadel Hill only... more

We got the room we requested: King bed (Sleep Number bed), room overlooking the harbour, on high floor. Good size room. Centrally located in downtown Halifax. Very close to restaurants serving good breakfast. Walking distance to the harbourside market/ historic properties and to Halifax metro centre, where the Tattoo was held. We had a wonderful time in Halifax. more
