The hotel itself is a bit outdated but it has the basics right. the staff were very helpful and went out of the way to aid in any situation and very friendly at the front desk, especially the GSM who was the best hotel employee i have ever encounted in all my travels :) More

Stayed at the Citadel hotel last week. Yes it needs some TLC but that happens when you get old. The staff are all great. The food was very good. Like the $5 off if you don't have maid service. Halifax is a very green city. Love it. I think it is a shame that the hotel will be torn down... More
