Dolan's Inns is a perfect place to stay, the beds are the most comfortable, the rooms are super clean, large balconies with lots of deck chairs, big tv's with satellite programming, The two common rooms have a pool table in one :) and leather sofa and chairs and TV for relaxing in the other one. We arrived in Pictou without a reservation and had a hard time finding something large enough to fit our family of 5. We were fortunate enough to find this apartment on the top floor, with 2 bedrooms (2 queens + 1 queen), living-room, fully equipped kitchen (incl. a washing-machine). We stayed in Pictou for one night on the way to Halifax airport. The Pictou tourist office helped us book this place for a good rate. Dolan's had several different places throughout Pictou. Our house was near the tourist office, which was a 15 minute walk from the harbor and town center. We stayed in rooms on the top floor... more
