after a long drive we stopped at the admiral inn, the staff were very friendly, and the room large, quite luxurious and clean. the room had a large bathroom (although we could't get the jacuzzi bath to work) the room had a fridge and microwave. The staff was unfriendly and the decor reminded me of a nursing home --cheap , hospital colours, scrubable plastic. The room wasn't too bad. The breakfast service was poor and the staff were rude.. We booked three rooms, as we were staying for a wedding. When we arrived only two rooms were reserved. After enough complaining we managed to get a smoking room. The quality of this hotel is great. From the hotel staff to the dining room, everything was above par. The rooms are very nice and clean, and the cleaning staff are super-friendly, they actually speak to the customers and look for feedback! I can't comment on the interior of the hotel or on the cleanliness of the rooms, but I do object to the management. I booked a room in July when there was only one complaint against the manager of this hotel, so I decided to take a chance with it. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my trip due to illness.... more
