Checked in here after leaving the Comfort Inn. Nice large room, very neat and clean. Helpful staff who showed us the the room. Adequate pool and hot tub. Breakfast was ordinary but adequate. Bed was hard but I slept well. All-inall, a good motel. more
We happened to find ourselves in Leamington in May which we were not aware but is a very busy time for birdwatching. Being there on business I was very impressed with the Howard Johnson from the point of check-in, to the Lounge, to the rooms and amenities including the great breakfast and professional staff at check-out. We stayed in the Howard Johnson (formerly a Ramada) hotel in Leamington while in the area to visit Pt Pelee and Rondeau. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel common areas were clean. Excellent stay amidst the lushness of southern Essex County. Very clean, nice amenitites and well located. Amazed at all the birders out for bird spotting at Point Pelee! This area is an undiscovered gem in Canada, despite being named best place to live in Canada a couple of years ago by MoneySense magazine. more
