We were QUOTED a price on arrival and charged a fare bit more when checking out, spoke to front desk and lady was VERY RUDE and told us that whoever checked us in didn't know right price (NOT MY PROBLEM) they don't train there staff. If it had only been a few dollars, maybe, BUT the difference of $30 one... more

I stayed here with my husband while we attended a wedding at the Lamplighter. The wedding location was great, food service was very good and the food was excellent. We absolutely loved the Best Western Lamplighter. The kids aged 11 and 13 had a fantastic time in the pool, hottub and on the water slide!! We ate our dinner from the hotel restaurant in the atrium. we were there for a wedding last june and everything was excellent. we had a third floor room with a balcony facing into the dome and pool area. everything from the room to the pool area was really well done. this is probably the nicest indoor pool setup in ontario, they have done a fantastic job with this new area.... more

The hotel is fine. Rooms are clean and good sized. Location is okay. Staff didn't offend anyone. However, the most notable feature of this hotel was the absolutely overpowering scent of chlorine that permeates the ENTIRE hotel.
