Basic but super clean room, 1 block from St.Joseph's hospital, great accomodating staff, no parking, basic continental breakfast but restaurant opening soon, beside McDonalds and lake and downtown streetcars. I was hesitant about the cheap price I found for a weeknight. But the whole experience was great and I would go back again. Yes there is no elevator and it's nothing fancy, but I have stayed at much worse for more expensive a price. I had no complaints. The breakfast was well stocked, not busy, clean and kept neat.... more

The Days Inn website advertises this hotel as 'recently renovated' - I'd be surprised if the room we were given had seen a lick of paint or anything of the kind in the last 10 years or more! I picked this place cause it was near where I needed to be, and was the cheapest and yet most decent looking. I got my room for $85 (cdn) a night, which was better than I could find anywhere. The room was clean as expected, but decor was somewhat outdated looking. Breakfast was ok, but some stuff ran out and was not refilled. Stairs only, no elevator, so be prepared to carry everything you have if you're not on the first floor! The wireless internet connection quality was low and sometimes disconnected.
