Not worth the money. There are plenty of really nice B&Bs in NOTL at less cost. The pool area is really old. The pictures on line make it look better than it is. The heated outside spa is warm at best and out of 10 jets only 2 were working mildly. Not a spa at all! The towels are at... more

We stayed at the Oban Inn June 13 for our 10th anniversary. This was the first time we stayed since the changes from the old English style to the new contemporary style. Our room was kind of small, had one Queen bed was tastefully decorated, cozy and very clean. The bed was sooo comfortable. Most memorable was our couples massage... more

We booked in on a package deal which was for one night ,a bottle of wine in the afternoon a three course meal in the evening and breakfast. This cost nearly 350 dollars. So we expected something fantastic, how wrong we were. The wine did not arrive till 6.30,just before we were going for our meal.So we thought under the circumstances we would take... more

Our second night of our weekend Honeymoon was here. I was so excited, hearing about the food and the 'best place to stay in NOTL.' This was not at all our experience To start, we were greeted by a terribly unfriendly staff at the front desk - not a "Welcome to the Oban Inn & Spa" but a glance up... more

There are many great places to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We choose Oban Inn and it was a really lovely place to stay. We were given a room in the Oban House which was beautifully appointed and had a great view of the gardens. The spa service, fitness facilities, and morning breakfast were all excellent. Normally we stay at larger resort... more

We have always stayed at the Oban in past years. But since their renovations, where is the ambiance and the quality of service? The desk staff is disinterested and cold and the lobby area (now the spa) is cold. The rooms, although beautiful, have lost that charm that we so loved. But worst of all is the dining area. Unbussed... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Oban Inn. The room was beautiful in a old Victorian way. My partner and I respectively had a massage and a pedicure, both of wich were some of the best quality treatments we've ever experienced. The Inn is well located in the heart of NOTL. Very convenient. The only down side was the breakfast.... more

A group of us went to the Oban Inn for lunch prior to attending the theater at Shaw Festival. Having been there before, we were surprised to see that the old dining room had been replaced with the Tony de Luca restaurant. The service was terrible - the wait staff was inattentive, disappearing for long periods of time. On top... more

Two bed deluxe room had very comfortable beds in a good sized room but bathroom was tiny. Room had been modernized with nice furnishings. The Tony de Luca Restaurant was overpriced with ridiculously small portions. I ordered quebec squab and what I got was a tiny wing and leg that sat lonesomely on the plate. The breakfast was also poor... more

After viewing the Oban Inn on their website we thought finally a beautiful old building with an airy modern clean interior. On arrival we find that the only pretty airy clean atmosphere is in the spa not the rooms! The spa is small but pretty, beiges and contemporary sedate colours. Our room on the other hand was horribly overpriced. Ugly... more
