We had never been to Niagara on the Lake before and we just picked a b&b online. We lucked out though! This is a wonderful place to stay, so close to town you can walk anywhere. The owners were very nice, yet gave us our privacy. They had many good recommendations for restaurants and their breakfasts were to die for!!... more

My husband and I just spent a delightful weekend at the Saltbox 1820 Cottage. Our room was spotless, spacious, quiet and decorated with period furnishings. Additional comforts included a small refrigerator stocked with various (soft) drinks, a pitcher to heat water in, and cozy bathrobes. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Niagara on the Lake is a wonderful little town, but your visit would not be complete with out staying at Saltbox 1820 Cottage Bed and Breakfast. The history of one of the oldest houses in town is felt everywhere. Kim and Phil have made the experience complete with period furnishing, soft music, but also old fashioned hospitality. We had the pleasure of staying at the Saltbox 1820 Cottage in NOTL last week. What a fabulous place. The owners Kim & Phil White made us feel right at home.
