Being next to a great pub as well as the drive up to the hotel and so close to the train. The staff are so friendly. If you stay often you are family. Please let them know you love this place. They love to please!!

Niagara on the Lake is a pricey town for accommodations. The KIng George III inn is an exception. It's a small, basic motel down by the harbour, around the corner from the much larger and more posh Queens Landing. The rooms are an average size. The decor is dated, with wallpaper and borders and such, but that was no problem... More

The King George lll is a small hotel above the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour offices beside the marina in Niagara on the lake. It is within easy walking distance of all the theatres and many of the excellent restaurants in the town. The rooms are not fancy, but they are large, have excellent queen beds and many have balconies. Staff... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here during the Shaw Festival and were very pleased. The room was comfortable, the basket of juice and granola bars a nice touch in the mornings, and the staff friendly and accomodating. We were walking distance to the shops, restaurants and the Shaw Festival Theatre, and the balcony was a great place to relax in... More

We had high hopes for this place, as we reviewed the information online here. Wow, where we disappointed. The bed was so nasty, when my fiance laid on it with me, I would sink to the middle of the bed, so would he. The rooms was so tilted and slated to one side it felt as though you where in... More

We stayed here for for two nights. It's central to everything in the town and just what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and tidy. I really liked the little extra touches, like the folded up towels like swans and animals and the small breakfast basket they left outside our bedroom door in the... More

The King George the III Inn is located on the water on a small side street. The Inn only consists on 9 rooms that are clean, but they are not big at all. My family of 5 went with 1 room and we had to get another because the rooms only consist of 1 Queen size bed which is not... More

I stayed at The King George III for 4 nights in one of the rooms at the cheapest rate so it didn't have much of a view. You don't have to go through the Jet Tour department on the first floor to get to your room as another reviewer has said. There is a separate entrance for hotel guests. My... More

What a find! Niagara-on-the-Lake has become very expensive to visit in the last 10 years, as nearly all the hotels and restaurants went "upscale" and took the prices up with them. Cheaper hotels in NOTL were not fit to stay in. Then I found the King George III Inn -- inexpensive, well-located and a very nice place to stay. It's... More

I recently stayed at the King George III Inn and was not overly impressed by the cleanliness of the room. There were tiny bugs all over the place and the bed was very uncomfortable. The worst part of all was the parking guy, which I can only assume is an ex-cop. He had a terrible attitude about people parking in... More
