My son had a Basketball tournament in Ottawa. This is the best hotel we as a family stayed in. At first it is a senior living and they kept one floor as a hotel. The bed and place is so clean and very spacious. I really would recommend it.

Convenient, close to 417. Clean suites with food flooring, no carpets which is a plus for germs and cleanliness. Roofs are big and comfortable. Only negatives are window blinds are not darkening blinds and there is no services at hotel. Asked for decaf coffee and they didn't have any options. Also can upgrade beds as well.

Booked one night in Ottawa and found a great deal $114 which included tax at the Embassy West. When I pulled up the grounds were not well kept and it said Embassy West Senior's Residence which really threw me off. This hotel is being converted into a retirement home; hence do not expect similar services of a fully serviced hotel. Spent one night at the Embassy West Hotel and was very pleased. The room is all updated faucets, shower, flooring, spotless, flat screen tv, fridge, sink, dishes.
