Really came in the middle of the spectrum of expectation. It started really poorly, it almost seemed that the staff was wiped from the aftermath of the marathon. A lot of the hotels downtown Ottawa are getting old and I will say this had one of the newer looks. The Marriott's rooms have been rennovated recently and our's was very nice--modern, clean, comfortable. It was also a good size--enough room for a king bed, two chairs, a desk and still lots of floor space for suitcases, etc. Front desk service was very pleasant.
