This hotel is a very low 3 star at best. We were there for a conference and while the conference space was adequate, the rest of the hotel was very unimpressive. My husband & I have stayed at several Marriotts now & although this one wasn't one of the most recent updated or newer ones, it still measured up to Marriott standards. Comfortable beds, duvet, pillows and plenty of room. Pet friendly hotel, but very very few options of places outside for him to "relieve" himself. Another downfall is the parking.... more

Overall, we would say the hotel is "good enough" for the low rate we paid, but be warned that this Marriott isn't in the same class as other Marriotts. I stayed with the Ottawa Marriott this week, and took some time to read past reviews once I returned home. Mentioned was the carpet being worn in the lobby. I guess the Management of the hotel takes these comments seriously as the carpet was being repaired while we where there. The Joy of this hotel was the 4th floor area.... more
