Clean....charming....great value for the $$$$$$$$$$......SERVICE WAS 100%...tips on what should be seen in Ottawa...park your car and walk thru the tree lined streets of Sandy Hill...the breakfast was different each day with a choice of home made breads Jams..and the best waffles I have ever had...would stay there again...and recommend it to all our friends and fellow travellers. more

The room was clean and well furnished. The decoration was impressive. The breakfast was very good and the owners were extremelly gentle with us. There was no TV in the room and it would hev been nice to have a computer with internet connenction. more

Australis was a fantastic B&B, situated in a lovely area just a 10-15 minute walk from down town, however Carole so kindly picked us up from the infomation centre. I relaly enjoyed staying at Australis B+B. Carol and Brian were very welcoming hosts and also very sociable. The location was a good 15 minute walk from the downtown area but I liked the fact you were not surrounded by the hussle and bussle of city life. Close enough but not too close! Great location but moving to a smaller house does not suit Australis. The shared bath / facilities situation is terrible. Rooms are small, with not much by way of lighting / ventilation. Laundry / linens not changed frequently. The scones are awful - Ottawa offers much better food and accommodation for the money. Sorry but the Australis is no longer... more
