The Alexander House is conveniently located near downtown Ottawa and is only a half hour walk from the Byward Market. We largely enjoyed our stay, but would like to warn future travellers that there are a few outstanding issues that were problematic for us. At a minimum, we expect a comfortable bed at a B&B. The bed lacked a headboard, the mattress was uncomfortable, the room was small. No dresser, so an electric teapot sat on the floor.
