My boyfriend and I stayed at the Harbourfront Inn (a four room inn above Murphy's Restaurant) in Port Dalhousie. Upon reserving the room, I expressed concerns over the room being noisy since it is, after all, located immediately above a restaurant. I was reassured, however, by the friendly staff person taking my reservation that the inn was very quiet and that the restaurant closed before midnight anyway.
Upon arriving, we found the room to be pretty nice. Indeed, we didn't hear the restaurant from the room at all. After midnight, however, our ears were overwhelmed with the maiting calls of drunken frat boys and the ladies who love them, mixed with the booming bass of aimless cars cruising the strip.
"WOOOOO!!!! LET'S GET WAAAASTED!!!"

Even with all three of the windows closed and the television on, the noise was too much to handle. We were awake from midnight until three-thirty in the morning...
