We just got back from a three night stay at the Avonview Manor. The house is a very charming older home in a pleasant neighbor an easy 10-minute walk along the river to the downtown area. Echoing other users, the owners of this B&B keep a very nice house. The things that stand out are: 1. pool and hot tub -- very pleasant after a long day of walking all over town. 2. big kitchen for guest use -- there is a sizable fridge here where you can keep a lot of food and drink. My husband & I have stayed here on at least 6 separate occasions. Food is always good; hosts are gracious and friendly; location is convenient; and the victorian style home is beautiful. Have never used the pool or hot tub, but heard it's great from other guests. more

I stayed at Avonview Manor with my two daughters. We had a splendid weekend. We were treated as part of the family, and swam in the pool with the family. We had a grand breakfast in the formal dining room looking over the back yard. It is bright, cheery and a relaxing setting for a delicious breakfast and friendly coversation... more
