I should have know by the broken sign outside! This place was old and needs to be demolished and started again! We had been travelling for a long time and distance and found the staff here to be the friendliest we'd encountered from Alberta to the maritimes! We were very pleased by Comfort Inn Thunder Bay. The staff was warm and welcoming. My husband and I did not expect much from the breakfast, assuming just doughnuts and coffee, because it is free. Thank you for your comments. I am happy to know the staff was warm and welcoming...we do pride ourselves on our guest service. Our guestrooms are now featuring complimentary high speed wireless internet services as well large flat screen televisions for your in room entertainment.
So for my business my team and I have been to over a dozen Confort Inn loactions stretching from B.C to Ontario. This hotel we had even previously stayed at and foud it adequate. Stayed at the Comfort Inn for two nights and found it very nice. We've stayed a number of time in Canada at Comfort Inns (by Journey's End) and they are all exactly identical down to the charge for the in-room water and the $2.99/person for breakfast. Thanks for your comments...we certainly do appreciate your feedback. We are no longer charging any fee for our breakfast, and in fact, we have expanded our offerings for our Comfort Sunshine Breakfast. We have also replaced all pillows with a new, incredibly comfortable, larger pillow. These new pillows are so comfortable, we receive many requests to sell them to guests!
The room was 112.00 cdn and for that we only got two double beds, not even queen size. But I do have to say that the room was fairly clean. There was a bottle of water in the room and we thought that was a nice touch, until we saw that they wanted to charge you two bucks if you... more
