We were on our way to Niagara Falls from Winnipeg so our first and last stop during the return trip planned to be at the Vic Inn. We were warmly greeted and check in was efficient. From reading previous reviews, I avoided the room overlooking the pool because of the noise. Instead, we were given a room across the hallway... more

STAFF: A variety of friendly persons, yet not entirely bilingual (which in my opinion should be a requirement in Canada) and not very logically communicative: when you offer services such as accommodations, you should clearly state what services are included. SERVICES: High-speed Internet was out of service the entire night, and I as a traveler REQUIRE the use of Internet... more
We stayed there,in 2004, and we said "never again". The place is a dump,a dive, that doesn't care who it caters to,as long as you've "got the money"(or I guess,if pay-day was on that particular day). The pool does seem to have WAY too much chlorine in it, As after swimming for a while - Myself + my brothers had some bad... more
We stayed at the Vic Inn for 1 night in July with our 7 month old son. The place is good value, clean and well located in Thunder Bay. The hotel is a motel-style and it has a huge atrium which encompasses the pool area - this includes a kiddie pool and a pool with a multi-story waterslide. Many of... more
If your a First Nation person and plan on staying at this hotel...dont' forget your cell phone along with the local hospitals emergency number. In August 2004, I suffered a major injury which required medical assistance, (To this day, I am still suffering major side affects). I informed the front desk clerk, whom informed me that the manager will not... more
We just returned to a stay at the Victoria Inn, for about a week. Spent almost over 200 grand. It was really nice the first couple of days, & then last two days staying there, everyone in my family came home with rashes, and couldn't stop scratching. I recomment that the lifeguards, MEASURE HOW MUCH COLRENE THEN PUT IN THE... more
