The Community bathroom was FILTHY! I felt Dirty going into it! Not allowed to flush toilet paper.. that is unsanitary. urine under the toilet seat (obviously old as it was brown from age) walls spattered with something.. all around the tub, that could not be used as everyone put their dirty towel in it. Shower was filled with bottles on... More

This is one of the more unusual places I've stayed in over the years, but I think as long as you know what to expect if you decide to stay here, you'll have an enjoyable time. CozyToronto, also known as Jacos B&B (depending what website you browse) advertises itself as B&B, but I would describe is as a 'hostel with... More

Not a good first impression, the owner wasn't there when we came and we have to knock the door many times. In the end, a roomer came to open the door for us. Even after, we had to call to the owner and then he came to check us in. There aren't bathroom in the room, we had to share... More

Can't beat the price, it's true. The location is okay, in a dead-end little street, just two blocks from the metro. We were warmly welcomed by emre and his colleague, very friendly and open for all kinds of conversations. You can make your own breakfast any time, and emre's colleague was always present. The desktop computer was also available for... More

JacoB22 B&B, where I've now stayed numerous times, has a laid back energy that will suit globetrotters. The heritage house in Toronto's Gay Village is centrally located. The friendly and relaxed Emre Yurga has taken a self-serve approach to the bed-and-breakfast formula; a stocked fridge and cupboards combine with a comfortable kitchen and dining room to create more freedom and... I stayed in the New York Room and it was quiet nice, although there were cobwebs in the corners of the room and the towels didn't look great, but despite that overall it was fine. The owners on the other hand were incredible!!! Emre and Christine went out of there way to help me ammend a situation with my credit... More

This is a hidden gem! Having never been to Toronto before and having no idea of the areas to stay, and being quite shocked by the prices of Toronto accommodation, we stumbled across Jacob 22 on hostelbookers. Definitely a stroke of luck! It's a lovely B and B, very personally decorated, with spacious rooms, a cosy communal area. Breakfast is... More

This was probably the best B&B/hostel that I have ever stayed at. The place is beautifully designed, the rooms are lovely with lots of character and the free wifi access and TV were very useful. Its also excellent value for Toronto and close to lots of bars and restaurants. Good choice of breakfast and Emre (the guy who runs the... More
