I booked the hotel at a fantastic rate through another web site. I had hoped to get a different Intercontinental location which happens to be right next door to Roger's Center but got this one instead. I was travelling with my elderly father and he has some mobility issues so being closer to Roger's was preferrable. We were in Toronto... more

I would recommend this hotel. It is across from the ROM in the posh Yorkville neighborhood (high-end shopping etc.). We got a good deal, I'm not sure how much this room usually would cost. This was one of the nicer rooms I've stayed in. There was a sitting area with a comfy couch, some chairs and a table. The bathroom... more

I was very happy with this hotel. Very nice spacious and clean room, very good, central location in Toronto which was very close to the TTC and downtown Toronto. As well it was quiet and more intimate than most hotels I've stayed at. I very happy with the customer service and I would highly recommend going back to this hotel... more

I reserved a room here for out-of-town guests, and subsequently helped them check in and spent a few hours each day visiting with them in their room. Service at the front desk was friendly and efficient. The staff were consistently helpful when asked, and we never felt neglected, but this isn't a place where they scurry to assist with baggage... more

Situated in the Bloor st. Yorkville area the hotel Intercontinental is in an ideal location. Whether it is musuems of high quality, luxurious shopping, or picturesque walks through tree lined streets or Queens park. all are in close proximity. Public transportation to downtown is conveniently near. the hotel itself is elegant, comfortable, excellent restaurant and has most helpful staff. We... more

First of all it has a bad insolation, you can hear noise such as ring up call in the room just beside you. And we also could hear the sub way.... more

Above and beyond service at the InterContinental (especially on the parts of John-Paul and David). I'll get to that after I rave on the other features. - Convenient to Yorkville -- all the restaurants and shops within a 5 min walk. - Spectacular view of ROM architecture - Indulgent PILLOW selection. I had 7 pillows of varying firmness, all with... more

We chose this hotel because of its excellent location on Bloor St. Staggered in from street with heavy bags tired after intercontinental flight; no doorman available to help. Reception staff smiled but did not ask if we required assistance. Not a good start. Upgraded to a smart suite but an incongruous single bed was upturned in the middle of sitting... more

Everything was great. Service was wonderful, the rooms were sizable and clean, and the location was fantastic. I fell in love with the bathroom and the bed. It was all extremely comfortable! I will say that it was very difficult to find the parking, through no fault of the hotel, there is construction right next door. The bar was great,... more

We have stayed in many hotels in Toronto, but never the Intercontinental Toronto Yorkville. We were a family group that reserved several rooms for a family weekend celebration. From the onset our stay was perfect. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by the doorman and our check -in was equally effecient and extremely friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated and... more
