My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. We live in Toronto so a little getaway from the kids for two nights and celebrate our anniversary! Starting from the door man that couldn't bother with helping us to a terrible suite that was cold. I never though this hotel could be this poor. Elevators not working to staff quitting... more

I decided to try out the King Eddy for one of our excursions to Toronto in May. The price was right, the location was good for what we wanted but just a little far away from the nightlife. The hotel is a real throw back, uniformed doormen who looked like they had been there for 40 years, a large grand... more

Stayed an evening at Le Meridien King Edward, right in the midst of the Toronto International Film Festival. The King Eddy hotel has been a fixture in the Toronto landscape for decades, and it's good to see that Starwood has continued to maintain the quality service and rooms. From the moment you enter the ornate, elegant lobby, you really are... more

Wanted to add my thumbs up, this hotel is great especially for SPG platinum members they upgrade you to their Execute Suite if it's available. Plus free phone calls and club access. Excellent hotel, would recommend it over the Westin Harbour Castle. Greate service. more

We booked this hotel for a 3-night stay in Toronto because my wife and I were attending a conference at the Metro Convention Centre. We initially booked a basic room at the conference rate... I then received an email from Le Meridien with an offer to "upgrade to a Deluxe Suite including access to our Club Lounge"...and for an additional... more

Noisy! Oh my God, the cooling fans are like nuclear reactors, and the thermostats use *mercury drops* like from the 1940s. This hotel is ancient and clapped out. And they're trying to pretend it's modern. It isn't. It was slightly better about three years ago when they did some kind of renovation ...and then they just kind of gave up... more

I can't even begin to describe how incredible this hotel is. From the friendly front desk staff to the spacious, clean rooms I can't think of another place... more

We stayed using SPG points and were not disappointed. The room was Jr. Club level and included complimentary Club beverages and snack in the evening, continental breakfast and internet. The room was of a nice size and we were impressed. The shower water pressure did seem a little off initially but it was a result of the shower head being... more

Our stay unfortunately coincided with 'Wuffstock' the dog festival and we shared lifts and public rooms with barking slavering dogs it was incredible. If you are planning to visit Toronto check which hotels do NOT allow dogs and you will be safe. The hotel also wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount of money to have beverage facilities in our... more

Priceline is my new best friend! This was my first time using priceline to bid for lodging. My bid of $80 a night was accepted (looks like it could have been lower around $65 according to other reviews). After this experience, I learned one trick for bidding. To make sure you get the lowest price that would be accepted, make... more
