They sell this hotel for around $60 on Priceline, and once you stay you'll know why. Royalty may stay here, and they may have palatial suites for hundreds a night, but the normal suites are tired, old, and nothing to write home about. Location-wise, it's a block from a subway stop, right on a streetcar line, and a short walk... more

My husband and I stayed at the Le Meridian King Edward in Toronto for my 40th birthday. It is an elegant and Luxurious hotal in a central location and perfect for the train station which is a 10 mins walk. The suite we stayed in was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and clean and the service was very good. I would... more

I stay at Le Meridien King Edward in Toronto 8 - 10 times a year because the old world charm and impeccable service make me feel at home in the heart of Toronto. As a Starwood Platinum member I am eligible for the same benefits in all Starwood hotels and I find the King Edward staff and facilities top all... more

I was traveling in Toronto on business and decided to extend my stay. My wife flew up from the states to join me so we could celebrate our wedding anniversary. We searched for a hotel in downtown Toronto that would be both convenient and not the "cookie-cutter" hotel one so often sees- The King Edward exceeded our expectations. This is... more

I spent three nights in King Edwards. It's a beautiful old hotel very centrally located close to many attractions and easily accessible by public transport. Although it is an old hotel my room was in a fairly good condition and it was very spacious with lots of storage. Definitely a good value for $107/night. Most of hotel's staff were very... more

Since we paid only US$60/night (booked through Priceline) during our stay in this hotel over the Memorial Day weekend, they put us into the worst room with no hot water in the shower (during first 10 min in it) and the room had only one king-sized bed for three of us. Service at the front desk was mediocre as well.... more

Let me preface my review, by stating my experience will be coloured by the events in question: I stayed at the hotel for my fifth anniversary and got engaged that evening. I called in advance and spoke with both the manager and the concierge to let them know about the special evening I had planned. The manager had us upgraded... more

I picked this hotel for a last minute getaway to Toronto. We booked on priceline and got a great deal ($51 US per night)! We were only there for a night. The location of the hotel is pretty okay. It's within walking distance of the shopping district but I think there are better hotels which are closer to everything. The... more
