We booked a trip with 12 motorcycles, planned everything out, checked and doubled checked. Phone calls were made to the hotel and we were promised secure parking. This is critical with motorcycles in a city. Once we got there, we found out that the parking was full. Even though we were guests, had reservations, and had confirmed multiple times. No... more

This was a good standard hotel for its price with attentive staff, clean rooms and a great location to see the best of Toronto. It was also surrounded by two of the best restaurants for travellers in the area: The Golden Thai which was superb just around the corner and the Spaghetti House where I ahve never seen so much... more

Standard kind of room, bit dated but comfortable and clean and tidy. Same for the bathroom reasonable size, functional and clean. The room lighting was very poor, but there was free internet and the breakfast I quite enjoyed. The service was very good and nothing was a problem. Bit too keen to get you signed up for tours which I... more

We rushed to Toronto for a weeks demonstration at a well known bank. We were late to decide where to stay. Our client recommended few hotels and we choose Holiday Inn Express for it's location mainly. The hotel is in downtown, ideal for business travellers. With almost 200 rooms it offeres both smoking and non smoking options. Rooms are cozy... more

Stayed here in December 2008 for the Dolphins v Bills game at the Rogers Centre. The location of the hotel was good and within easy reach of everything. No need to get a taxi, bus or subway to anything in the city centre as it was all close by. The breakfast is what you would expect from an HIX although... more

I had a really short stay at this hotel; less than 12 hours. The staff at the desk were helpful and friendly when I checked in and out. I appreciate this since the room wasn't really that expensive for downtown Toronto. The room was decent. The bathroom had a lot of patches in the wall paper and could have been... more

Parking is safe and easy but a bit over priced for the area ($20/night when it seemed $15 was the going rate). Wall mounted air conditioner was a piece of junk - this thing noisily blew both hot and cold air all night. The only consistency was the noise and that is stripped the air of all moisture. My respiratory... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Toronto over the Christmas 2008 holiday season and wasn't disappointed. The hotel, just a few blocks from downtown businesses and shopping was a clean, new, safe and welcoming experience. I stayed during the cold snap of December 2008 so having the subway just a few blocks away was very important. Also, within walking... more
