This is a huge convention hotel. The meeting facilities and common areas are perectly acceptable, and hotel services are prompt and responsive. The accomodations are generic at best, and for the price (even at a group rate) were nowhere near what I would have expected. Stained carpets, peeling contact paper and an AC unit reminiscent of a 1960s Holiday Inn... more

The location of this hotel is terrific...very central and right on Toronto's underground shopping concourse for those rainy days. Transport to sightseeing is also incredibly easy. Our teenagers loved being able to go swimming after rampaging through the stores. The Sunday pool party was a lot of fun too! We only ordered room service once but it was speedy and... more

I have already lived through a very pricey bed bug infestation in a former apartment, and I have become somewhat of an expert in knowing what to look for. Because of this, I am particularly leery of staying in hotels anywhere. Unfortunately, the Sheraton Centre Toronto seems to have a bed bug problem on its hands. I did my normal... more

My husband booked this hotel through Priceline for 3 nights. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel- without traffic it can take about 15 minutes, but at most, give it around 30-35 mins. The flat taxi rate should be $40 CAD- but our driver didn't have a meter (which we unfortunately did not check beforehand), and he... more

I stayed here for 5 nights via priceline. It really was a busy time during my stay. A few downfalls were not 100% clean rooms, ie towels & sheets. And I was in a connecting room which someone seemed to be having a party in and the cigarette smoke was coming through to my room. I mentioned this to front... more

Sheraton Centre is located right downtown which was great for sightseeing. The lobby was quite nice, with a nice waterfall and garden. The room was decent though not spectacular. Parking was very expensive at $40 per day. It was a bit too steep for me so I drove across the street to park at Toronto City Hall (Nathan Phillips Square... more

note: all prices mentioned are CAD This was my first visit to Toronto. Being from New York City, I was hesitant to book something in the downtown area, since they are usually overpriced especially when mass transit is available. However we had Starwood points that we could use and ending up paying $50 cash plus points per night for a... more

We booked this hotel at a discounted rate from an online site for less than $90 a night. Even so we were treated wonderfully here. The hotel was full and we had only 1 double bed for our family of four. Without asking they upgraded our room to a parlour added some beds (which were incredibly comfortable!) and viola -... more

I stayed in Rm. 2236 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto on July 27-28, 2009 while in town for a wedding. I got a great rate (about $80 CAD) through Hotwire. This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel; I would have no qualms about returning nor about recommending it to friends. Our room featured a King sized... more

My wife and I returned for a second stay in May 2009. We found that our first experience in 2008 was repeated. We had a really great time in Toronto and this was made possible by the Sheraton Centre Hotel. The location is really good. We do go everywhere on foot [plus me in my wheelchair] and found that we... more
