While I wouldn't go back for dinner. This is a lovely small hotel to stay in. The rooms are new and huge (one bedroom suite). Good location off of Bloor and the afternoon tea in the lounge is great! Very old fashioned and good service too! more

what can I say ..... are they kiddin??? The absolute worse hotel I ever stayed at....betwwen the dizty blonde manager at the front desk and the so called "sales woman" who needs to learn customer 101 - what a trip!!!!!! All I can say is what a great bad movie script the place would make, more

NEVER AGAIN will I stay at this over-rated hotel. The room prices are atrocious for a so-called 5-star hotel. Greeting at the door was nice. Front desk amicable. Very ghostly feeling with no punch to this hotel. The setting dull, old. Looks like they have let the Arms go. When my wife and I went into the steak restaurant we... more

I enjoy trying different hotels in my travels. As I visit Toronto frequently, it is easy for me to try different properties, especially since Toronto has gotten a few new hotels in the past year or two. Well, all I can say that trying different properties is not something I plan on doing again. There is absolutely nothing that compares... more

When I walked into the front desk I was immediately checked in and my luggage taken to my room. I had a meal in their new steakhouse and was amazed with its ambiance and great food. It felt a lot like a restaurant in Tribeca in New York or a restaurant in Fashion Island in SoCal. The room was comfortable... more

attended the christmas day dinner. - items not as advertized on menu. - poor quality of food served - ran out of turkey within first half hour into the dinner service - unprofessional resturant staff. - restaurant management unable to maintain order in the restaurant and allowed a shouting match (with lots of 'f' words) between two tables to continue.... more

We stayed at the Windsor Arms for 2 nights December 21st & 22nd, 2007 in a 2 bedroom suite. Check in was fast and friendly and we were escorted up to our suite (412) by a staff member who showed us where everything was (ie) the many light and sound controls throughout. In our room there was a plate of... more

I live in Toronto and walk by this hotel regularly. I am planning an "afternoon tea" birthday party for a a small group of six-year olds, and since this is one of the hotels in Toronto well-known for afternoon tea, and near my home, I stopped in to ask if they would accommodate at a slow time of day. Initially... more

It is very disapointing and concerning that someone would make these comments. Our hotel is consistently ranked as the Top Hotel in Toronto and our Tea Room always gets stellar comments and it continues to be a favorite place for friends and family to meet, chat or celebrate. We frequently accomodate children of all ages, but when they are in...

I must say, for a big city full of hussle and bussle, this hotel felt like home. The staff has a special way with people, making me feel as if I was the only guest. They are real people, not robots. The location is perfect and the decor is amazing. One would expect the rooms to be old fashioned looking... more

This hotel is a dump in every aspect. The place is dark and boring. The elevators have a fake library in them, with cutouts of book covers glued together, what a joke! The food was terrible, however they did recommend a good little Italian restaurant within walking distance, which I though was great. This place is totally over rated. Its... more

We apologize to this 'guest' if our elevators upset his stay. The comments are most surprising as the Windsor Arms is consistently ranked as the Number 1 Hotel in Toronto. We draw attention to the Conde Nast Top 100 in the World [nov 07] which again ranks Windsor Arms as the Number 1 Hotel in Toronto. We continue to work...
