This has got to be THE worst experience in hospitality....wait - any kind of service/product I have ever had to pay for or ever experience in my entire life. This hotel only needs one word to describe it, and that is MOLD. This dated, poorly constructed building seriously needs to be destroyed for the health of the people working within... more
This hotel is close to the airport and I would imagine is used heavily by those attending trade shows at the Toronto Congress Centre (that was my reason for choosing this location). The hotel did not disappoint. Check-in: Very efficient, with an added pleasantry of being given two warm cookies. Enjoy them right away, they are delicious warm. General: lots... more
The Doubletree offers a great stopover package. Room plus 2 weeks parking and shuttle to/from airport. This is our favourite place to stay on a night before/after a trip. Rooms are large and clean; although bathrooms can be a bit dated. Hotel staff are always friendly and helpful -- as are the shuttle drivers. Several restaurants in the hotel and... more
stayed at this hotel last month and everything was good from the moment i walked in to the moment i walked out. front desk staff were fast and friendly and the room was nice and clean and the best part? the multiple fine restaurants in the grand lobby. definitely worth the $$$ !! more

Attended a conference there. All staff was friendly and helpful. Anthony the bellman helped with ideas of what to do and directions on how to get there. Conference ran well lots of meeting space. Never was to cold or to hot which says a lot for a conference. Food was good. Dined at the Chinese and Italian restaurants. Received great... more
I stayed at the Doubletree for meetings. This is an older hotel that definitely needs a facelift. It is quite big and the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, even though in my case, my room was smelling like cigarette smoke even though they are not supposed to. You can easily get lost in the hotel since there... more
I have stayed at all the Toronto Airport hotels, Sheraton Gateway, Hilton, Westin and Four Points. I will say that this one was very well worn. The carpets were old, the decor was old. If you can get past that, then this hotel could work. This recent trip, this was the most reasonable, so I book it. Dinner was pretty... more
Noisy Noisy Noisy. Plenty of choice of restaurants (3), nice lobby, nearby airport. Room I had was old but clean with a fresh layer of paint. For an airport hotel I would think sound insulation is primordial but somehow they totally forgot about this when building this hotel some 20 odd years ago. On the 11th floor you can hear... more
