We always book rooms with balconies (for fresh air) but this hotel is pretty clean (non smelly). It's far from the lake (4 lanes of traffic) but I like the lake view. The hotel decor and comfort was fine, but those advantages were greatly outweighed by the freeway noise. The freeway is -honest to God- fifteen feet from the windows. Even with earplugs, I couldn't sleep through the traffic noise. more

Check-in was smooth and good and the room was modern. The position is excellent overlooking the lake. The hotel is a little out of the main centre though but the plus of free parking makes up for it. My tour group stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and found it to be quite adequate. The rooms are roomy with all the features most of us like--good tv, refrigerator, comfy beds. I had a good view of Lake Ontario from my room. The hotel is quite accessible, service is good. The attached restaurant is certainly adequate. more
