Hotel of quality. Spacious room. TV films still running on Video Tape. Certainly not worth ordering. Reception notes that this is run by an contracted company. As a film buff, a complete waste of time and money. Specially as the TV in the room is of high quality. Lifts are agonisingly slow. Room service excellent. Hotel close to a main... more

I would give this more like a 3.5 stars only because the location is unbeatable. It is right above the subway station, undersground mall/food court and is considered "the center" of Toronto. If you like fine dining or expensive shopping, you can walk 5 minutes and you're there. There are also a good variety of cheap/ethnic eateries up and down... more

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel on Bloor for two nights on the 12/13th October. My first impressions were very positive - the staff were helpful, they had complied with our request for a room on a higher floor and the room when we arrived was enormous - as was the bed! It was our fist night in Toronto and... more

Stayed for 2 nights while attending a wedding. When we checked in the construction noise was quite audible, so even though construction stops around 5pm we were offered a new room further away from the noise, and closer to the elevators. Needed a dress shirt and found a Bay about 10 steps from the lobby, right beside a LCBO which... more

I'm normally pretty picky when it comes to hotels and accomodations. After we were able to pick up the hotel off Priceline for $118, we weren't expecting what we got... First off, we showed up early, and I figured there was no way of an early check-in (noon), but to my surprise, the very friendly woman at the desk found... more

The only downside is that you have to go down to the lobby to get a free wireless connection. This surprises me because most hotels have free wireless or wired connection in their rooms. Maybe this could be their next upgrade. A young lady at the front desk was totally stressed out but she did her best to give us... more

The hotel's location is the big selling point for this property. It is right above one of Toronto's busy subway stations and surrounded by shops, restaurants and attractions. Inside there is a pleasant enough lobby and adjacent to it the Matisse restaurant. Having said all this however I have to say that my stay wasn't as pleasant as I would... more

We stayed at this hotel the beginning of August for a weekend. The location is brilliant, right over a Mall and the subway..I would suggest Tim Hortons right around the block for coffee!! Delicious..We were on the 5th floor and the room was large and very very clean..One King sized bed with great flat screen TV.. We would stay here... more
