Check in was great, staff was excellent. The room was small and is set up weird: the sink is separate from the toilet/shower, which is ok, even nice that you can use it without bothering someone in the shower, but you have to walk through the bedroom area to wash your hands and there's nothing to put your stuff on... more

Hotel on Yonge Street and close to trains and the Path which will take you anywhere in Downtown. Not the best area, but a short walk takes you to shops and restaurants. Seems to be in a Gay area too if that bothers anyone? Parking charges are very high - almost as much as the daily rental of the car.... more

Well after staying at the Sofitel in Montreal, this was a real let down. In Toronto for 2 nights and this was selected based on the location. There is absolutely no service. We had a room beside the ice machine and drinks vending machine. The entire 3rd floor sounded like a plane was getting ready for take off. Complained about... more

While a slightly less luxurious option to its cousin, the Marriot Eaton Centre, this hotel can’t be beat for location and value for money. As I paid under 100 dollars a night on a pre-buy (from a website called 1800hotels) -- I can’t imagine a better deal in the downtown core. The 4 nights at this property were bliss. Check-in... more

Stayed in the Mariott Downtown for 4 nights recently, and thought it was a great hotel. Our room was spacious, light and clean and the hotel itself was in a great location and service was great. We ate breakfast in the hotel one morning, and while it was pricey(what's new for hotels!?) it was really tasty. Be sure to have... more

We spent two nights at this hotel in early August - mom, dad and 14-year-old son. Room was large enough that we didn't feel cramped. We requested a refrigerator upon check in and were glad one was available - it was small and placed under the vanity area, but was nice to have during this part of our summer vacation... more

We stayed at a king suite which is reasonably roomy. Only complaint is the counterspace for the bathroom is quite small. Could be noisy at night from traffic on Yonge Street. Location is walkable to Eaton Centre and Bloor St. Breakfast buffet offers different varieties. The room rate includes breakfast which is a good value. Staff professional and courteous. Pool... more

This was my 15th trip to Toronto but first time staying at the Courtyard by Marriott. We arrived late at night on 07/24/09 and checked out the morning of 07/26/09. I am a Marriott Rewards member and booked a room with a balcony. Upon check-in we received a balcony room on the 10th floor. Parking at the hotel is $30... more

The hotel was easy to find, very centrally located. It was clean, and the staff was polite and responsive. We did have a little problem with the WiFi, but it was handled quickly and efficiently. The price seemed very fair for the area. The fitness center is good sized with a variety of equipment, each with a personal TV screen... more
